A member of our team will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and we’ll travel to the Dades Valley via the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. The landscape changes as we head south.We’ll arrive to Ait ben Haddou Ksar, the largest and oldest ksar in Morocco. It is a UNESCO heritage site. Several movies have been filmed here, like The Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones and The Jewel of the Nile. Next stop will be in Ouarzazate, known as the African Hollywood to explore the movie studios and the Taourirt Kasbah before continuing to the Dades Valley via the Rose Valley. Overnight in dades valley including dinner and breakfast.
After breakfast at your hotel we’ll head to the Todghra Valley and Gorges, passing through a lots of Ksours along the way. We’ll stop for a walk in the Todghra Gorges, considered the tallest and narrowest gorges in the country, then we will carry on toward Tinjdad, where you can have lunch. Continuing toward Merzouga. Overnight in Merzouga including dinner and breakfast.
In the morning after breakfast, we will take you in an excursion through the golden dunes of Sahara desert where you can get the chance to see the black volcanic rocks, and meet a nomad family, see their nomadic lifestyle, share a cup of tea with them and see how they tailor authentic carpets. Lunch will be somewhere in Merzouga. Next we will go to Khamlia which is a village of the dark-skinned people where you can enjoy the original music and folk songs of the Gnaouas. In the afternoon you will have your camels waiting for you to take you to your luxury desert camp to spend the night of a lifetime in a luxurious tent under the light of thousands stars. Overnight in luxury camp including dinner and breakfast.
In the morning, your camel guide will awaken you to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes. This experience is considered one of the trip’s highlights.After your breakfast in the middle of the Sahara dunes, you’ll ride your camels back to the village of Merzouga. Then we will start our journey driving to Ouarzazate via Rissani where we will stop to visit its traditional market, continue on through the beautiful Draa valley with its millions trees arriving to Ouarzazate by evening. Overnight in Ouarzazate including dinner and breakfast.
After your fresh breakfast we will drive towards Marrakesh again crossing the High Atlas mountains once more, down Tizi n’Tichka pass . We will arrive in late evening.
